Cashco Financial is the volunteer sponsor for the Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern Alberta's (RMHCNA) 4th annual Block Party.
The block party takes place on Sunday, June 26th and is a free event open to the public. Last year, they had approximately 10,000 people who came out to support this great organization, and are expecting even more this year!
We are ecstatic to join sponsors like McDonalds, Coca-Cola, Alberta Music, Jubilee Auditorium, Edmonton Sun, Cisn Country, 630 Ched and more, to support an organization that does so much for sick children and their families.
If you're unfamiliar with what the RMHCNA is about, they are a non-profit facility that takes the financial burden off of families whose children are being treated in one of Edmonton's medical facilities.
Essentially it is a place for families to stay, eat, watch movies, and try to maintain a sense of normalcy during a difficult time. The house features three kitchens, heated underground parking, a school for guests, and several spaces for families to gather.
With seven programs, two of which are volunteer led, the house relies heavily on donations. Everything from food, gas cards, gift cards, movie passes, basically everything and anything to bring relief and joy to families in need.
This year we are taking on the role of volunteer sponsor. With 120 of our employees dedicating their Sunday in support of RMHCNA it's bound to be a good time.
